Did I just catch a look at a 2014 refreshed Camaro? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Stopped by my dealer today and my salesman saw me and we started to chat.
I told him I was interested in any news of the refreshed Camaro and he said walk around to the back and let me show you.

I walked up to the car and the first thing I noticed was that the rear had euro led tail lights and SS emblems with ZL 585 and Carbon fiber covering the trunk.

I walked around to the front and had a full carbon fiber hood raised part said 585HP Supercharged. I looked at the front and it had flush led headlamps and looked different than a Zl1 front and different than SS front.

I looked in the windows and could see a very shiny ball type shifter like a hurst but smaller.

Nothing else stood out different except looked like ABL running in the interior
roof line as well as the doors.

I asked if this was the refreshed camaro and he would not say.

I asked if I could take pictures but he asked that I not.

Also it had a unique ground effects package on it as well with NPP exhaust with square outlets.

He did say that the v6 would have the twin turbo.

He closed the building door and I left.

Came home and tried to find anything about the SLP package with supercharger and only found 575HP and just add on to the camaro ss.

Could this be the refresh?

As Becky and other GM reps will tell you, the dealers, especially a salesman have no more info then you and I about the changes, nor would they have a car that is yet to be revealed. The reason being because of posts / rumors like this.

So no, you did not see a 2014 refresh.

I think they should leave well enough alone.There is a reason they stopped production,and there is a reason we all have bought these.

That is a 2012 and it looked close but the complete hood was carbon fiber and trunk was too. Wheels are different as well but did have ZL on the center cap.

If GM hasn't even unveiled the car yet, it sure as hell isn't going to be at a dealer.

Too early to be producing 2014 Camaros anyways.

GM should throw a curve ball and make the last 2 years of the 5th gen' Camaro based on a Trans Am to represent for the diehard Pontiac fans.
