It's not as simple as giving it a VIN for the street. The COPO Camaro couldn't come close to passing emissions even outside of California. Presumably, the Demon can and did. At the price of the Demon, it will have very limited appeal and obviously only as a drag car. There are plenty 57 Chevy Bel Aires with plates on them that run under 10 second ETs, so doing that isn't magic. I hope Chrysler builds thousands and thousands and sells every one of them. This is definitely the best performance period in US history.

This is like the Z28 IMO...you can drive it on the street as a daily...but its not the best for it.
Chevy made a damn good track car, dodge made a damn good track car, just different tracks.

All in all I have got to give them credit they have created more hype for a car since the model T was introduced...

I am a 2 car SRT owner but am much more interested in my new ZL1 TPW 4/24.

Absolutely! Chevy could take a lesson or two from the Dodge division.

The COPO can be made to pass emissions. If Mopar can do it so can Ford and Chevy. Those guys have an endless bag of tricks but not the will to do it.
