I gotta admit something here. One car that intrigues me deeply is the Infiniti M37 Hybrid.. That is one Hybrid that paints an entirely different picture about that genre of auto. Its quite a performance vehicle coupled with modern Hyrbid Technology.

nice story, i do wish i kind of grew up in the 60s and 70s. my dad also talks about the 70s a lot. i do not feel the magic of "muscle cars" as you probably do. its nice to see people so happy with a car.

Yeah, I have been following those too. But, the Infiniti starts at $53-54k. Somewhat a bit more affordable and its on the market now. Interesting times for sure.

Camaro, Corvette, Mustang, Challenger, Chrysler 300, Charger, Viper, and Challenger. Good.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Mike

One thing I know for sure having been around in both eras, these hot rods run circles around those cars very easily.

Imagine an original COPO 427 Camaro.... No rear disk brakes, no TC, no ABS, four speed rock crusher tranny and a whole 6-8 mpg to boot. Yikes, that would bankrupt most of us at the price of gas now.

Technology isn't all bad.
