Borla exhaust, American Racing headers long tubes, high flow cats & H-pipe, CAI inc intake, Black Iceolator, V-max ported throttle body, HP dyno tune, Flaulken FK452 tires on Lorenzo WL021 wheels & not that is matters a lot on the track but Pedder's bushings & rear sway bar, BMR font sway bar & end links.

Here's the rub, that 60 foot and also my best 1/8 & 1/4 mi times were before many of those mods which should have made things better. My times while not worse by much (little enough to be explainable by conditions), they are NOT better. The car feels much better, butt dyno is great, even dynos are better, but not better at the track.
FRUSTRATING!

Automatic transmission? If you have the 4 gauge pack see what your trans temp is at the track compared to the street. I had to install a trans oil cooler because mine was running hot.

That sounds expensive. Yea it is an auto, no gauges, but I suspect it is running hotter. I am going to try icing the manifold down between runs next time like I used to, to see if that helps. I want to add the Vietese throttle controller & see if that helps. I'd love to add a cooler but I assume that is out of my league.

It only cost me $200, was pretty easy to install. The front bumper has to come off though so that will add time, but if you have any friends that are mechanics they could do it in a few hours. Labor should be able to be paid in beer.

Couple things for you Ruby.

1. the throttle controller will not really help with the 1/4 mile time as it does not provide HP. It might help with faster 0 - 60 times as I have done some of my own testing and found some nice improvements for that acceleration. But at the track I so no benefit, as I could not get the traction I needed with the faster throttle responses. However, it is a GREAT mod and well worth it, just maybe not the cure all for the 1/4 mile.

2. Check this thread out for the trans cooler. I was sending messages back and forth with him top get this item, but since I am no longer racing this Camaro, I am going to pass on it now. But this will certainly help keep your trans cooler.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I know the throttle controller wouldn't add HP but wondered if it might get it moving a bit faster & help with 60 ft time.

The B&M cooler I had barely added anything, maybe 5 lbs, but improved my times by 0.5 seconds. If it feels faster on the street than on the track it could be the issue, especially since the stock trans cooler works with the radiator. How hot is your radiator temps at the track? If it is over 220 degrees than your trans oil is heating it up, side effects I noticed.

This is what I have:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Smallest one they have and it cooled my trans temp by 70 degrees. Very easy to mount since there are 2 holes below the hood latch that are spaced perfectly for the cooler.

The person who is selling the cooler that I posted about, just contacted me, I informed him that I am going to pass on the cooler, but that I posted the information to this thread.

thanks for posting this information up. I have update the front page. However, you listed the wrong MPH for the 1/8 mile. I have it correct on the list.
