Question regarding MRT Axle-Back Exhaust V2.0 (2010-2013 Camaro V6)
Found someone on Craigslist selling them for 300$ used.
They got them from this site: http://www.************.com/ Are there any problems I should look for when buying used car parts of this type? Anything I should ask? Anything I should inspect? Or should they be just fine? They have told me that they are in clean working condition, anything I should look for that could deter me from buying? Or would they be just okay. Thanks again everyone! Well...that is weird. It won't let me post a link to the site I got them from... http://www.morano racing.com/ (with no space in the middle). http://www.morano racing.com/mrt-axleback-exhaust-2010-2011-v2-0.html |

find out how used they are, why he's selling them.
and I heard that the 2.0s are raspier. if you want more of a rumble and back fire. 1.0 is better.. just saying

I asked him how long he had them in use - just waiting answers now. He told me that he is selling them because his wife complained about their noise haha. Apparently she didn't like them... Hmmmm good point. I am looking more for that old school muscle car sound - definetly want to avoid sounding like a fart can Honda blasting around. |

now im not sure what kind of muffler the mrt is, like inside, but when ones like flowmaster get old or damaged they can have a rattle. but you can find that out by just shaking them and see if anything is damaged/lose inside the muffler.

At the other end of the spectrum is 304 stainless steel. This is what premium brands Borla, Stainless Works, ARH, Kooks, and MRT use. It is an even higher quality material than the 400 series stainless that comes on the car from the factory. You will not have corrosion issues with 300 series stainless. It will last longer than the car. |

They use 400 series stainless. It is the same stuff your stock exhaust is made of. Should be good for 100,000 miles or so depending on how harsh the environment is.

My car has like 11 or 12K miles on it and only sees sunny days. I think I'm good lol.
