Ok a series of hydro parts by part. Only one part at a time to make it simple.
All parts are hand scrubbed to remove all dirt, grime, oils, etc... Parts are then degreased, and adhesive promoter is applied. After that at least one full coat of primer, and sanding. Then base coat color is applied, sanded, and applied again. These first steps are all very important for a smooth finish. Parts are then dipped in the tank. After a thorough washing, parts are sent to clear coat for three coats of automotive clear to be sprayed. Parts are then hand polished. Not everyone does this. Rear diffusers: much nicer looking than a large black plastic piece on the rear. More tomorrow. Last edited by dragonZ28; 02-28-2012 at 10:00 PM. |

Damn it, Roger. I'm glad I don't live near you, I would be working 2 jobs to buy shit from you.
I want a carbon diffuser but I know they are NOT cheap to "dip" |

Not as bad as you might think. We have a very large tank to accomodate these large parts, piece of cake.

Roger , I 'm thinking on getting a few parts done from you .These are the two patteren's I'm looking at , you already posted the small skull's above. Do you have any work with this pattern on , I think these are large skulls ,
I'm looking at the trunk drain lids like above ,and the engine shroud you have . the front one by the latch . also a K&N Typoon chrome Pipe for CAI.. Can you do a base coat of green on the pipe. Please send me a PM with Quote for price.. I'm just thrying to figure out what design would actually look better , with the size of the parts , Thinking the one below will be to big and you won't see the skulls , but the other skulls are to small.. Would these in the pic below be the same design as above? http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attach...hmentid=288463

Air pockets that stop water flow, will also stop your film flow. This way we eliminate the possibility of a poor film transfer or having to redip the parts. Thanks, Roger |

We have many skull patterns including the one on the green engone cover. We also have the reaper pattern in many styles. Seems like the one chosen the most is the small ones though. Here is a Z06 intake we did with the reaper. Silver basecoat. Thanks, Roger Thanks, Roger |
