If you're looking at the car from the rear, only the top part of the trunk would be black so you wouldn't really be able to tell, really. Only when you look straight down from the top would the blacked out deck lid be apparent.

Maybe someone could do a photoshop?

Your idea may look good. Taking it a step further, might as wheel black out the roof also.

For this job, we really wanted to do our design on the rear black out with black bezels and exhaust. There are so many different things to do with this great car. Make it your own. You can be different from everyone else and look good. Not everone is going to like it. As long you the owner likes it, that is all that matters.

Wow, good job, it looks killer

My car is currently being painted for BB style rally stripes and they also removed the rear and front bumber. They did mention that all the bolts for the rear bumber were loose, have not talked them yet about the front bumber. Do you all notice the bolts being loose? The car looks fantastic--good work

Thanks for the compliment. The customer loves his car and is getting loads of compliments and lookers.

As far as finding loose bolts, we have taken apart 5 different Camaros and none of them have had any loose bolts. Please post your photos when the car is done.

It is too easy to copy others. Someone has to try to be different. Some people like the polished wheels and others like the black. What I can say, when we had this at the dealership for a couple days, this car got more positive attention than any other Camaro. When it was delivered to the customer, he, along with his friends and others around, were blown away. It is very impressive in person. Much more than in photos. The black wheels help give it a much different look than other Camaros. Both black and polished would look great.

i like the hood, like the rims, i can live with the rear-blackout, but i've always cringed at pictures of IOM Bowties, to me, it justs looks wrong.

i just looooooove the car the way it is very very very nice. i dig the hood very much like in the good'ol'days! great job! makes me think about the super bee with it's huge scoop for the 440 six pack.---the hood was flat black--

Dude, I think it looks way better than the stock. I'm not a fan of red, but the color combination looks good in my opinion. I love the wheels. Maybe I'll powder coat mine too. Mine is a black SS. BUT, I really don't like the red Chevy bowtie.
