You can't pour in enough octane booster to make a difference.

Good to know about Kroger and Shell. Nothing but Shell 93 for my SS. It also helps racing by staying with one reliable brand, so no surprises at the track.

Seriously? Please explain, I guess you could always buy some race fuel to mix in with every tank lol

Shell for me as well. It's the only station in town that doesn't have any ethanol content

Because when the can says it raises the octane one point it doesn't mean 91 to 92 it means 91 to 91.1.

Back in the late 70's I'd dump a few cans of 104 Octane Boost in my 72 Chevelle and I could swear the engine felt stronger, but it could have been wishful thinking...or a side effect of the fumes.

Chevron with Techron (91) here or I will run Shell V-Power (91). I will go out of my way to drive to either gas station.

Sunoco 94 and a tune. I'll run any major brand as long as its 93 octane or better. My tune is optimized for 93 octane. If I have to run less, I go with 91, but no lower. My ECU will roll over to the low octane map if I run 91 which is perfectly safe, just a tiny bit slugish. I just have to remember do the fuse pull/reset once I can fill back up with 93+.

I use Shell V-Power as well, 91 Octane with no ethanol. Pretty much the best you can get where I live. There is 94 available at Husky... but I don't trust it as much.
