My SS is at Kook's right now getting headers and high flow race exhaust and X pipe

Yep...I dropped Big Blue off at Kook's Custom Headers yesterday morning...She is the prototype for thier new system for the 2010 Camaro...She will be getting Inch and 3/4 headers with 3 inch high flow race Cats X pipe back to thier race mufflers and Tips....Great bunch of guys there...They will be doing a video in the same fashion they did on the Pontiac g8 for thier website....this is AWESOME! Stay Tuned!

thats awesome, they giving you a tune with those high flow cats? Also, ask them to test it to see if it meets emision standards, this will matter for a lot of people.

I am going to have it tuned when I get it back....I need to find what CAI is out there that best fits my needs..that I can get my hands on. The Tune will be done by Redline Motorsports.

I'm gonna guess with longtubes it will not meet emission standards ...

Should be a killer set up ..

I have their headers on my '02. Hands down the best $$ I spent on that car - will be going with Kooks on the 2010 too.

Kooks makes some nice headers for these LSx engines.

I heard there G8 system is very similar as far as fitment application

You are correct Sir...The headers for the G8 should bolt right on...they need to fabricate the rest..X pipe and that Cat back...hopefully it won't take very long

hey kooks only makes a 3"x2.5" Xpipe for the g8, do you know if they are gonna make a 3"x3" for the new camaro instead?

Race exhaust = no cat's

no cat's = not emmission legal.

I've had long tube headers and still passed emmissions testing in Cali, they have the strictist laws out there. You have to have a C.A.R.B. # and you're good.
