Here are some helpful links to answer your questions:

Lawn Service Plaza Info: http://www.paturnpike.com/geninfo/srvcplaza/lawn.aspx

EZPass Info: http://www.paturnpike.com/ezpass/enroll.htm

It just makes it quicker for everyone if they have EZPasses for the toll plazas. If someone doesn't have one, the ones that do will have to wait at the side of the road after the toll plazas until those that don't have EZPasses pay their tolls. We realize not everyone will have an EZPass, but if everyone did, we could really "book".

The anticipation for this trip is killing me.

Also, for those of us who want a Waffle House stop in Ohio, we have to make sure Ralph won't "waffle" on the suggestion!!!

I'm writing this from Tyler, MI. I'll be home Monday afternoon. I don't have a problem stopping at a Waffle House. Do we have to get off the turnpike to get to the Waffle House?

There are a number of them in the Columbus, OH area with 2 of them on Brice Road just off of Exit 110 of I-70 (we should go to the one at 2160 Brice Road). This would be about 375 miles from Lawn Service Plaza, and a good spot to eat and re-fuel before heading into Indy, which is another 190 miles or so. There is a Sunoco just up the road from this Waffle House.

If we leave with full tanks from Lawn at 7AM SHARP, we would get to Columbus around 12:30PM if we average about 70MPH cruising. If we leave Columbus by 2PM, fed and refueled, that would put us in Indy around 4:30PM cruising again around 70MPH.

Thoughts?

Is there one before there? I can't make 375 miles without stopping for gas.

There really aren't any in Ohio until we get to the Columbus area. What kind of mileage does your car get cruising on the highway? "Math nerd" here figures if you get at least 20 miles per gallon, that will get you to Columbus from Lawn with our 19 gallon gas tanks. If you don't, we would just have to schedule a refueling stop sooner.

Not really sure. 20 would be great. I quess we will find out. Car used to get better mileage until I added the cam and the stall converter. Avg has dropped from 15 to 14 and never have reset. Car has just about 20k only about 3k with these newer mods.

I have not really done any long road trips so most all miles are in town.

I'm going to shut myself down on this. =( My friend can't go...and being only 21 my parents would probably freak out if I went by myself. I also might have baseball commitments that weekend.

Also, between missing work (I don't get vacation as an intern), gas, hotels, etc I would be down a healthy amount of money for a few days. Have a blast guys.

What is the full address of that Waffle House off exit 110. Need it for my GPS.
