Got one!!!!

Well, today went to the local Chevrolet dealer and purchased a 2SS/RS he had on the showroom floor. I got it for MSRP which was $43,8XX. I had a black one on order but couldn't wait any longer. The car is IOM with the black interior, hockey stripes, six speed manual, 21 inch polished rims, ground effects (waiting for those to come in) engine cover, car cover and trunk mat. The IOM is such a great color in person...sold me right away. Sad to see my 07 loaded avalanche go, but oh well...one look in the garage and I feel better. I'm ordering some Zaino tonight and can't wait to get it shined up. I'll try to get pictures posted once she is cleaned up.

BTW, anybody in Ok city want to order should contact Eskridge Chevrolet in Guthrie. The just had an allocation open up. In fact the order for my black car was supposed to be put in on Wednesday.

For some reason, I thought the 21" option had the rims being black?? I only say this because if they are 20" rims, then you didn't get msrp. Most likely there are more 21" rim options by now, so you should be okay. I'm sure they wouldn't put 20" on, and say they are 21".

We picked up our RS last night and I can say (we will post pics soon) that the rims are no where near black. Lots of peeps have said that the build site is wrong, and it is. Our rims look like matt silver, which IMO is just great by me!

You're right, those are the RS wheels. They aren't talking about the 20" RS wheels, but the 21" option you can choose instead of the RS wheels, which are just the regular wheels darkened. The 21" option wheels are black and chrome. I'll find a pic

Here ya go. These are the 21" wheels.

Welcome to the site! Car sounds very sharp.

and in reply to this post...look at mine. 21" polished 5 spokes, with 2 black spokes on each side of every polished spoke.

Dropping off the GFX at a local paint shop. Hopefully have the kit on my Friday. Probably wishful thinking. Anyway, because I have the IOM they are charging me a little more. Cost is $600.

Here are some pics...hopefully they come out...
