It works great. And it is not animal hyde, or natural material suede. It's micro-fiber suede, synthetic man made poly fiber. I like it far better than leather.

Glad I got it. Once a month I use a fine boars hair brush and gently brush all the suede. I have never used any cleaners yet as it still looks great.

After nearly 11 months I'm seeing slight wear on the shifter. Steering wheel's good.

My guess is it just needs to be cleaned as mine looked like it had wear too. I went with the suggestions I got from the guys over at adams polishes and it looks like new again:
