Thanks for the clarification so I guess the 1Le sways bars are out of the questions since I'm on a budget. |

I run 2 catch cans...
|
I only replaced the front sway bar and end links on my car with the ZL1 versions. I left the rear stock. No handling problems, and vastly reduced body roll.
If you try to put a stock V8 series sway bar on the rear of a V6, the bar will eventually hit the rear brake banjo bolts. Thus the need for either new brakes or an expensive aftermarket bar to avoid this misfortune.

I have some rear brembo calipers that just need cleaned up and rebuilt....if anyone is interested, they were spares.
I think one of the brake bleeders is starting to give out (threads) but other than that, they worked perfectly. If anyone is interested......

I'll throw a couple of pennies in...
Not sure about the 2013 V6, but you may need new lower control arms to run the wider seay bar. Check to see if you have a reinforced hole on the LCA's outboard of the shock bolt. The hole would be on the bottom. Your other option is to use a stiffer bar that bolts where yours does now. Hotchkis has one, as does BMR. Pfadt used to. This way allows you to use your existing end links. |

Yes they will fit the v6 and yes you need to upgrade to Brembos.....but.....there are other forum members who will tell you that they are using these bars with the stock v6 rear brakes. So, I can not really say either way, GM will tell you to upgrade to the Brembos

If anyone is still looking for sway bars that are compatible with the V6 calipers, try these: http://www.jpssonline.com/shop/jpss-...-gen-sway-bars
I bought these through JusticePete on the forum here. The bars are solid; 27mm front, 3-way adjustable; 32mm rear, outboard mount; no interference. Drop-links (end-links) for the rear bar can also be purchased (front bar uses existing links). As far as I know 2012 and up models have the proper lower control arms; to find out, just look at the lower control arm between the spring and the wheel; there will be a hole if you have the required style arms; the drop-links slide through these holes. I've had these for most of a year and they make a HUGE difference; definitely recommended. |

If anyone needs a set of updated rear control arms for their 2010-2011 to work with the new style outboard sway bars, hit me up. I have a spare set.

+1 on the JPSS rear sway bar. Fits the V6 plug and play so long as you have the hole in the upper arm. It's a breeze. A bit pricey but well worth it. To save money you can purchase a less expensive aftermarket front V6 style sway bar, that's what I did to keep costs low. I have BMR front sway up front (set to middle hole) and the JPSS at back. Justice Pete has excellent customer service as well. He walked me through my troublesome bushing replacements even though I purchased them from another supplier.
