Nice, Ted did my car as well and I'm really happy with it. What did you get done?

I got a full dyno tune. I have done quite a few mods on my own and knew it was definitely needing a tune to get to its full potential.

I have a V6 so nothing crazy for the numbers but I picked up some tremendous gains in the mid range of the RPMs (~4000 to 6000 RPM). Got 30 lb-ft increase and about 25 horse increase in the midrange. Peak horsepower increased by about 10-15. Peak torque by about 25.

Final numbers were 281 hp / 254 lb-ft at the wheels. Pales in comparison to your numbers hahahaha.

Every little bit helps, Airmaster. I've talked to Kris about a brake upgrade to maybe to some Autocross days this year with the club. Recommendation is: Hawk HP Street/Race pads, front and rear; stainless steel brake lines; upgraded fluid (DOT 4); and dimpled and slotted rotors.

The only part I'm wavering on are the rotors. The internet will make your head spin trying to figure out if the benefits outweigh the cost, for example: drilled rotors can crack (maybe that's why they do dimples now???); and slotted rotors may have some benefit in wet weather and work like the treads on your tires to evacuate water, IF they are properly installed with the slots facing in the correct direction.

The SCDA instructor I used at my previous Lime Rock track day, and who drove my car during one track session said: if your current rotors aren't pulsing or vibrating (which they are not) then use them up first before replacing with whatever I decide will be the best fit for my type of driving and since the cost of the rotors are half the cost of the entire upgrade, I'm inclined to take that route.

Also, in this small research project I took on to figure out what would be best for me, I discovered from talking to some techs at various supply houses that even though my calipers say "Chevrolet", they are actually 4-piston Brembo's! SO ..... my next logical step after replacing the rotors might be to go for a set of 6-piston calipers, which will not be cheap. But for me, I liking taking "baby steps" (remember the movie: "What about Bob????").

I'm considering going to Camarofest this year and bringing my car, but definitely don't want to do the trip alone. Is anyone thinking about going that would want to ride with me and split the driving?

You'd not be alone but most everyone I know is bringing their car. You may be in luck if a certain Massachusetts member wimps out on driving his car though.
