Tune when installing gears?
I have a LS3/M6 and was thinking of installing gears. Not sure what size yet but read on here you will need a tune when you get them installed. Car still has lots of warranty left and was wondering if a tune is a must or just recommended? Any advice would be helpful!!!

A tune calibrates your speedometer.. not a have to but its dang nice to have it read correctly... sure makes your car look fast from a gauge visual standpoint. lmao

No. Your rear end gears will void your rear end warranty tho :-) They say a tune will void your warranty.. if you go in because your engine is knocking.. they're not going to blame your speedo change. Get my drift? Unless they're total Aholes in which case drive it to another dealer.
