I seem to constantly get the roar up two feet behind me before they whip around on two wheels. Even got it from a U-haul truck a couple of days ago.....really, a U-haul dude?

My husbands 32 and i am 24. He pays more than i do for his insurance for the same coverage....
Road rage is not gender specific, I've witnessed men & women from all ages experience it. If you're husband has higher insurance premiums, it's more than likely he tends to push the boundaries of the rules of the road a little further than most and ends up getting caught. Some are luckier than others, some are not.

Unless you're a total fanatic and you do everything by the book when you drive, that's the only way to keep your insurance costs down. For those with raging testerone, not likely to happen. The price to pay when you have a pair

The funny thing is I let people pass me all the time and I think "this'll make their day when they tell their friends they smoked a SS in their Hybrid".

I guess whatever makes them feel better about themselves until they get hit with the cold hard truth.

Ok ok, enough with the man bashing. I did well under the speed limit tonight on the way home. Does this mean I have a big D*ck? Yay for me! Buahahahaha!

Here's my story from yesterday....

I was on my way to work yesterday morning (about 5:30am) and I pulled out of the 7-11. I haven't had my car out for a while, & I had just dropped the kids off, so I decided to have a little fun and floor it up to the speed limit (didn't take long) so I could hear her growl for a split second.

A guy was turning onto the road I had turned onto but was a distance away before I even noticed him (he had a red light when I went, so I didn't cut him off). What got my attention is him speeding to catch up to me. He finally catches up and slows down (he's directly behind me) and isn't tailgating, so I think nothing of it. Then at the next light, while we are waiting to go, he is still behind me, and he decides to 'show off' and begins to spin his tires.... BTW... he is in a full size Ram truck. I was just laughing as he boosted his ego with that.... don't think he even realized it was a girl driving and I wasn't impressed at all ~ I can spin my tires in my Tahoe without trying, but I'm not gonna do it in the Camaro.

this car gets everyone juiced. they either love it or hate it or want to out run it. there is one jackass in my area that revs his motor at my car when its parked in the driveway and noone is outside.

I just drive normal, maybe a little higher into the rpm's before I shift occasionally. And people fly by or pull up beside me and rev their motors. I have just copped the attidude that it's probably not worth the 3 or 4 gals of gas I would use up just to leave them behind.

Well shoot they'd have to keep up somewhat to call it a race. I go petal to the metal all the way down the road! Jk but I drive more than the normal person and I get this a couple times a day. And people rage on me a lot more in this than my frontier. I don't get it. Jealousy maybe?

However if I see a new Camaro driving fast it's on. I don't try to outrun them per se but I stay right with em. Just fun to me wondering what all the people we pass are thinking.

And about it looking more expensive than it is. In December of 09 a month after I got it, I had not one but two people give me the same bs...

"nice car, I bet you thanked daddy for that one".

No sir my car my payments.

"right like some kid has 50 grand laying around".

You sir are a moron.

Then I'd walk away but honestly it's a Camaro.... Not a corvette... Looks nice yes but I personally wouldn't spend 50k on anything that wasn't German unless it had two flags or a snake on the front of it.

Usually only until you catch them at the next light.

It is also fun when you have people tailgating you in town and then when we both turn onto an on-ramp on the highway and there is no one in front of me I just gun it and leave them in my dust. It is hilarious watching the tailgater disappear in the rear view mirror! Most of the time I never see them again!

AH, the perils of owning a Camaro. I get kids in Mustangs wanting to race me all the time. 9 times out of 10 I just let them by. But that 10th time, if the road is clear, they see my tail lights.
