OMG...this thread blew up while I was out all day and night enjoying the car... Thanks for all the cool comments. I'll run through and answer questions in the morning I'm completely worn out after all the fun today. (There is a mount on the Heritage grill and the bowtie fastens to it... I'll post a pic tomorrow)

Spent the day at Aeros & Autos at Ellington Field... Fantastic car show to benifit Helping a Hero.org...

Then we headed to the Track for some Bone Stock runs...

Oh Yeah... one more thing before I hit the sack... I put my new D2Forged wheels on last night for the Car Show and never made it out of my subdivision this morning. The sensor valve stems were hitting the brake line on the rear so we pulled back into the house pulled the wheels and attempted adjustments. Took off again and after the first turn it was doing it again so I just stopped, took pictures and returned home to put the stock ones back on.

Now I'll be looking for the thread on this one, because I know it's happened to others. They worked fine on #8675..

[QUOTE=mlee;1792693]Post #2 was reserved to recognize some special folks. I delayed posting this one until Becky got her car too, as we now have brother/sister cars, and have been tracking these together for a while now. But she's dragging her feet so I'll just post away.

I'm not dragging my feet.....
You'll be out of warranty before I get mine..
Hopefully it will come in this week, and I'll show your little sister's pic!

The most asked question... How does the bowtie attach to the Heritage Grill?

Just got through putting one back to bone stock... this one will have the same mods and everything will be kept.
CamaroScotty brings up a good point on decals. Need an extra set for sure.

They are vinyl and like George Brans told me at C5 Fest they are super high quality pearl and installed perfectly wrapped over all edges.

Cool... I heard an interesting story from someone who was a driver in last years pace car. GM is contracted to provide pace cars and design is totally left up to GM. He went on to say Indy was not happy w/ last years SIM car and wanted Orange on White or vise versa. Sounds like GM might have been swayed a bit this year.

HMMM not sure I want to mess with the stock mirrors, but some under the hood Indy items would be cool. Will be in touch for sure.

I did get my exhaust, finally, but not from the people that wanted to set an appt. and then still have to leave it for a week. LOL. I won't throw them under the bus here. Would love to play golf on that course in the background. See it and envy it all the time. Enjoy the ride. One of these days, when my wife lets me drive mine again, maybe we can meet up. I just had EFI put on my 67, wow, it's running awesome. Take care.
Yep we were definitely the very first to get CGM around here. (not counting that guy from SA )
We definitly enjoy that golf course too. #3 is my backyard... come on up and we'll do a round. AND bring that 67 out to the street meets too...

The meet is open to anyone, we have mostly mustangs, but we do have a 5th gen camaro, and various other cars/trucks. I would love to see this beautiful car in person
See you there tomorrow night...
