I heard the car on Saturday, its awesome. By far the best 6 I have heard, but I am sure hearing it in person helps give it an edge vs the videos. Looking forward to hearing about the CAI install.

We played with the CAI yesterday and the manufacture is making some changes to the V6 version. The V8 looked good on the Dyno. The tone of my car changed dramatically as we were flowing more air, both in and out. They took the prototype off and they're getting my car back tommorrow for further testing.
I'm looking to see if anyone did a Mustang Dyno of a V6 before any Mods. My car, with the exhaust enhancements made, pulled 236 RWHP.
That's on 93 Shell, Zmax oil treatment and the Flowmaster Racing Mufflers.
I'll keep you updated on our progress.
*******If anybody is purchasing a CAI in the near future, please wait. This unit is a unique design and looks very promising in HP and long term maintancence. I can't talk to much about it now but I liked what I saw testerday.*******

sounds like you've lost power. I've seen dyno of stock 3.6 putting down 248 - 251 on the dyno.

How many miles do you have on the car?

Mustang Dyno typically show much lower numbers than a DynoJet... usually about 12% lower... but is not always the case... Some shops will set there Mustang Dyno to read more like a Dyno Jet...

The Mustang operator said their unit gives true RWHP because of the braking system. A Dynojet let the axles freewheel not giving a trus representation of real world driving. The Mustang adds brake to compensate for road friction, not just a roller..
Scrming, did u dyno your car before starting your mods?

which Dyno did Lidio use? They got about 236rwhp out of mine and that was before the cai was installed but with my modified exhaust. Again, on a Mustang.

Well... only glimmer of hope is Lingenfelter with their supercharger... Could means they migh have actually cracked the ECU... although I wonder if it's a piggy back system...

That's who I told my CAI manufacture to contact. They have a relationship with them. I have to believe if they think they're going push 450+hp, they're going to need some tune!
