A local dealer around here had like 2-3 2012s of these maybe a year ago or so. I kind of thought about getting one just because it would be different and you can't go wrong with the 6.0L. It was interesting to see the specs/interior pics of this car and I never knew they had a Detective and a Patrolman version of them with different interior options. I think they had them priced around $25k. Not too bad but the interior was like what you would expect in a police car, extreme bare bones...not that I have ever been in one before. Kind of cool to see these for sale to the public.

Someone on GMI managed to snag one before GM closed the loophole that allowed dealers to sell them to the public. I got to see it at a car show and go for a ride.

I'm hoping to pick one up in a few years.

The one in the picture may be available sooner than that.

It will be listed as lightly used, with a perfect service record.

The 6.0L is long overdue for replacement, and the new diesels scare the crap out of me with all the emissions garbage that can cause issues. Not to mention the high cost.

VF Series-II Commodore. Sad to know this is the last new RWD Commodore we'll likely ever see.

Yeah would be nice is you could get a updated gas motor in the 2500. Our 2004 has the same 6.0L with poor gas mileage only passable power and torque numbers. Most 1500's come with more power and torque and get better fuel millage.

GM has trademarked "Buick Avenir."

Not confirmation of production by any means, but...

Hopefully they fill that nose with some serious displacement.
