WTF does mean? like Late in the calendar year of 2016? late in the model year? which since 2016s are hitting now does that mean fall?

Does it just mean "not available immediately"?

late model year. The laser blue I have was considered late availability and was finally accepted in order in February this year, and hit my dealer in March.

The 4.8 is no longer offered in the trucks

4.3 (V6), 5.3, 6.0, 6.2 Gas engines across 1500/2500 models

No reason when the 3.6 LFX engine will work just about as hard as that engine, makes much more peak power (although peak power really isn't as important in the truck world) and would get MUCH better mileage.

A 6.2 would be really fun though. It's great in my 1500

You're kidding me! No diesel engine in the extra cab?! And only on the LT or Z71 trim?? @#$&!!!

I feel like they could have sold a ton of WT diesel trucks with the extra cab for fleet use?

Whelp... I think I'm out of the running on this rig, as I wanted an ext. cab WT 4x4 diesel, or a base Canyon ext cab 4x4 diesel... I imagine the Canyon will only allow it in the Crew cab in SLE trim or higher based on the Chevy restrictions?

Yep. Which is why WT Extended/Crew Cab Diesels are Fleet/Government orders only.

Otherwise, it's LT/Z71 Crew Cab only.

MGP has actually increased since flashing the ECM/TCM with PIP5303. This update is a MUST. I would not have been keeping this truck without it.

Used to get 18-19 now getting 20-21, but this could be break-in as well. Approaching 5K now.
