Wouldn't that be too small for a Commodore? I thought they were full size whereas the Regal was a midsize.

Not sure. Most media outlets seem to think Commodore will be Insignia-based from here on out though. The Holden Malibu isn't exactly a winner so there's a chance GM will have Commodore cover both the midsize/full size market.
