Arrow WANT TO BUY SCT X4 TUNER

I am looking for the SCT X4 tuning device.

I am posting this here because maybe some of you guys had this initially but when you added forced induction you went and got a dyno tune.

Get a hold of Dynosteve from RDP motorsport. That's who I'm going through and I added an innovate wideband so I can data log to get detailed times through him.

I would recommend JRE. If you ware going with a local tuner then I would wait and see what they are going to be tuning with before you buy anything.

You keep asking about parts and are shown ones for sale and you just don't get on the good deals. This item was for sale for 280 and you passed on it. The headers and high flow cats you wanted was for sale @ a good price also.
Are you trying to get them for dirt cheap? Are you just not sure if you really want it?

Get ahold of him. I'm not trying to be rude or secretive but I got a really good deal through him with tons of support. I don't know if he is still selling them for the price I paid. So I don't want to post up what I paid where he might end up feeling pressured to sell for a price he may no longer be offering or have others feel they are paying or have paid too much. I will say it's the best deal I've seen to date. Shoot him a pm asking for a price, if it's more than you want to pay then find a different choice. There is no harm in asking.

Why not put your money towards an actual tuner than SCT? You will be much better off getting a custom tune instead of a remote tune that you "hope" is right. Sure there are plenty that have had good luck but there are also lots of people that have had bad results also. Just my .02 but Id HIGHLY recommend you take it to somebody who knows what they are doing

What exactly do you want the device for? A dyno tune will trump a canned tune... Get it done right.

Homeless go here and take a look.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=392692&page=2

I decided to get an over the internet tune because the local tuners here are a little pricey and a little more experienced with the import crowd. I also bought the equipment to data log air fuel ratios so I can datalog and send it to dynoSteve to get a custom tune without taking my car to him.
