No tune, Roto-Fab. There carbon CAI is badass and will give you 25-30rwhp without a tune. I also like the New-Era CAI, but it needs a tune I beleive. Read around, there is currently ALOT of disscussion on CAI for the ZL1 right now

Well roto fab is the only current no tune. Cai inc is working on one.

rotofab I think has a dipped carbon option. not sure if the CAI inc will look like the SS one or not. both priced similar.

the odds of not needing a tune right out the box would be slim as well.

I think building one would be easy but building one that mimic's the stock maf repsonse would take mutiliple iterations most likely.

I think K & N is making one also, not sure about a tune requirement.

We developed this intake to be used with or without a tune. As many of you probably know, Roto-fab intakes have long been very popular and known to make very good power with highly modified and/or SC Camaro and G8 owners due to our huge filter, air box volume and generous duct size. This intake shares the same qualities-actually, the ZL1 MAF housing itself is our largest ID yet.
Our air box design effectively seals to the hood which isolates from engine heat while allowing the most room possible around the filter. We disussed a lid for the ZL1 intake due to the odd inner hood design, but didn't want to sacrifice filter size or the area around the top of the filter. Therefore, we developed a top edge design that does follow all of the contours of the hood.
The Roto-fab intake is a good choice to give you great power now with your stock ZL1 and perform great later should you decide to go with other performance upgrades.
