I used Armorall Extreme Shield Wax last year for the love bugs, as soon as I got home it took less than 5 min to wash them off with no effort at all.

So now you have mosquitoes and love bugs instead of just love bugs.

But that's what my buddy said and he's a regular Cliff Clavin, so I don't claim that story to be completely accurate, perhaps mildly based in a fact at some point in the past at best.

I have lived in PA for 25 of my 29 years on this planet. Granted, most of it was outside of Philly and now currently in Pennsyltucky but I've never seen Love bugs here. My first experience with them wasn't until I hit Texas in 2008.

Well , here in CA , we don't have those bugs , but we do have as many , if not more up there in Sacramento , but we have a different name , money bugs , and they do suck all of it from everyone else
Besides there is no known pesticide for it .

And yet one more reason why I love having all my cars clear shield protected. I laugh at love bugs during their time of year. All I need is a couple shop towels and I scrub them off w/o worrying about scratching my paint.
