Took her home... After 2 looooong weeks, the truck finally showed up from OK. The CarFax showed no accidents, but me being me I can tell the front bumper was resprayed along with front quarter panel on the driver side. All the panels still line up about as good as any other GM car so not a huge deal to me and another white SS manual with cloth seats would take another year to track down. Now I'm working on activating the XM radio then I'm going to take her for a spin down to SEMA for the afternoon.

Also ordered the Hurst short throw shifter, and coming up with ideas for a shift boot to completely eliminate all the leather from the car. Lucky for me, I think the "Dash Wrap" is Faux. Set an appointment with a buddy of mine who does some killer stripe work too as my stripe work is a little on the not so great side.

First week with the new car... Windows tinted, installed red LED dome light and trunk light. Pulled fuses for octane table and removed the NPP fuse. CAI next.

At 700 miles she just "woke up".

I ordered the flat figured it would match the factory stripes best. I think they look good the gloss must be real shiny or it is just the difference between flat and the factory matt finish that makes me think that.

They look great on yellow and maybe white, other colors seem to be a crap shoot. Flat looked ok on my Aqua Blue Metallic but always thought I should have gone glossy. I might as well try them on the new car.

I don't think the gloss black is needed with what we are trying to accomplish with them. I really don't know if it would make a difference though, I would need to see them side by side to know for sure. I think either way it will look so much better!

Scored a great deal on an NLP spoiler from a fellow C5 member, thanks Tim for a smooth transaction and a Badass spoiler... A spoiler was never really on my mod list but ya can't pass up a deal..

For the first time in 3 years and 5 months I was able to check out the Low Fuel warning this morning, filled it up after another 10 miles driving and still had about 2 gallons in the tank. Nice to know.
