Stock Brake Fluid ?
What kind of brake fluid comes in the 6gen 1LE stock ? DOT3 or DOT4 . If its DOT4 is there a GM spec number for it .

Well was asking because I have a SS sedan and it come stock with DOT4 but the owner manual just says DOT4 with no GM spec and to replace every 2 years . You would think if a car was to come stock with DOT4 it would be a 1LE . I was hoping the 1LE came with DOT4 and that it had some GM spec as to what it was. As of right now my SS sedan came with I don't DOT4 brake fluid . I just feel better if i new what the hell is in it but on the other hand it is DOT4 don't what to change to another DOT4 for no good reason .

Manual for the 16 ss also says dot 3.
