aww crap.. xm no sound
I got my key stuck in the ignition after I disconnected the battery for a project. When I reattached the battery I saw some sparks and the radio came on. Now 90% of the time it's running there is no sound from xm only am/fm works. It still show all the info though. (Note: still can't drive it out of the garage.)
So did I short the antenna? Short he head unit? Fill the roof of my garage with lead? Last edited by K32 Camaro; 06-13-2013 at 02:14 PM. |

If you're in the garage it may not come through because of the obstruction.

I never had a problem with it before. Sometimes I'll come home and finish out a good song in the garage.

Take it to the dealer and have it serviced. Should be under warranty.

Gunna have to. I wanted to be able to go in and point out the issue though. Last time I went in there for a slight intermitant hiss and walked out with a full on new unrelated squeal and a hiss.. lol.

When I drive my XM works...when I get into my garage it shuts off..Its probably cause its in your garage 100% positive.

it has lost the acquire signal...so in your garage it can't lock on....once it does, it'll play in the garage...

Probably is a garage issue but it's interesting you are still locking on to the touch screen information but not the audio.
