They are all over the place on google for extra charge ripoffs. Marking up the price without asking the customer or the last moment. Ancira is the Fail.

What can I say here, If you were smart and ordered at msrp, and had the patience to wait for one, thats the best way. I admit to paying 5k over, however, I signed paperwork on thursday, picked her up on monday and only had 8 miles on od when I drove off the lot. If you order car it has to be at msrp, as for the dealership I bought from (Holidays of Williamsburg VA) they have been top notch with me from day 1. Have helped me with everything I've needed and 1st oil change was free!

I called Vara Chevyrolet in San Antonio and they said they never sell over MSRP no matter what vehicle, you might want to check there buddy

Today, as the owner of a successful General Motors dealership, I'm selling some of the best cars money can buy. The values I learned from my father, his work ethic and the dreams he had for our family are at the root of my success with GM today. In fact, the quality of the training and support I receive from GM shows me that they too share my father's values. You know, I bet my dad would have made a heck of a GM dealer.

$37,995?

I paid less $1900 less than that for a 2SS with $2590 in options including tax tag and title.

What a sham!

Huh....my 2SS with $1670 in options comes out to about $37,500 (rounded up).

How is it possible that yours was $36,095.00 considering the MSRP is $33,430? With $2,590 in options that brings it up to $36,020 and with taxes at 6% in Michigan wouldn't that add up to be $38,181.20? That still doesn't account for titling and licensing, stealership fees, etc.

Did you get a discount off the MSRP? Did they give you your options for free? I need to get in on that action!

quote from USA Today

When asked about gouging, a dealer in W. Va. (can't remember the name) said his daddy had taught him the saying, "You can shear a sheep year after year, or you can skin him once." I love that!

Why is this shit still going on, man? Especially for the V6's? God, this better be over when I start shopping.

Bought mine off dealers lot and only paid MSRP Bob Johnson chevy rochesterNY. pretty sure they have a couple on the lot for MSRP right now.For 5 grand it would been worth the trip up here.

I read this too....and it is the God honest truth! I wish there were dealers like that guy's around here.

There is a local dealer here in town that my boss and I feel is notorious for high prices and bad service... Upon visiting their website to see what they have in stock, they have a Cyber Grey 2SS with black stripes (not sure of options, but doesn't matter). Folsom Chevrolet's asking price:

$52,467 !!!!!!!

Can't imagine the markup. Makes a grown man want to cry.
