I have been visiting dealers at odd times to see the colors in different light and when fewer people are around kinda stealth like. I was thinking of getting serious right when the order guides came out.thanks to this forum and all the sharing of great info by all of you , I basically know what I want. Little hung up on the color and trans (I know small things).was stuck on black auto ,now it's red rock or blue ray metalic Stick.

P.s lbls1 your color is awesome ! , great choice !
Hey thanks I appreciate it. I really can identify with your wants and objective, so I'd say stay with it. Like I said earlier I was really hoping for a big change and I was willing to stick it out to the end. When a couple of facts hit the light of day for me, it was then that I decided to spring a year sooner. Couple that with the outstanding Recaros and Blue Ray Metallic (in which the basic color of Navy Blue is one of my favorites), the rush to own a ZL1 pushed me to the brink this past Oct. You should do fine, just stick to your guns.

Forgive me, I couldn't resist. lol

However, I am under the impression that most drivers on the road do not set their mirrors correctly. If you can see the body of your car in your side mirrors and they overlap what you already see in your rearview, then you need to turn them out from the car to where when something leaves the rearview it automatically gets picked up in the side mirror and from there you just look to the side. RunonsentenceIknow... But I hope this helps someone.

I've only got an '02 Camaro but it being convertible with the top up makes visibility a challenge at times. I have learned how to manipulate my mirrors to where it is not a problem.

I'd love to see an electronic tilt steering wheel that moves up when getting in and out.

Hoping the gen 6 has better visibility. I wouldn't expect any changes for the 15's. Last significant change for me was mylink....wouldn't have bought a camaro with out it. The 2014 "refresh" could have just never happened as far as I'm concerned

I can't see them changing engines or increasing hp. It's expensive to re-certify and gen6 is around the corner. Plus it's a proven platform. It would be interesting to see them go with the las with a better supercharger. Even then I wouldn't expect much if any. A simple pulley upgrade on the current models gets you more go than these will ever have stock

Just an FYI, new MY generally starts in July and new orders won't be accepted into the system until maybe late May early June. That's been the trend the last few years, though some people notice it get's pushed back further each new MY. Last day of production for MY '13 was June 27 IIRC of last year.

I think the grille and tail lights will be updated to reflect the current model year.

I think the ZL1 will still remain as the most powerful Camaro ever produced. The Z/28 is all hype. Why advertise a car like that and not even be able to get one ? really ? I"ll stick with my ZL1 and all the great features and HP !

gm wont put to much investment into the last Oshawa produced camaro.
resources and effort is now on the 2016.
You make no sense. ZL1 and Z28 are different cars. One is a street car and the other is a track car. The Porsche 911 TT has always been faster than the GT3. But on a track the GT3 is king.

Same concept for ZL1 and Z28.

yes, but parking is the worst i have ever had in a car,I hate pulling into a parking lot,and then having someone get out so i dont pull onto the parking block...

agreed if you read GM's web site they state that the ZL1 will always be the HP king, just as the first one was,and the Z28 will always have the lower lighter higher rpm motor designed for track use...In fact they said that most people will find that the Z28 does not work well as a DD, and fully expect some customers to realize this after purchase....
I am willing to bet that there will be a bunch traded in after being purchased by someone that's never driven a track car before thinking it's like buying your run of the mill performance car, which is a much better choice for a DD comfort wise...those that understand the difference will love it for what it is, a weekend real Track car that just happens to be street legal....

I think it'd be nice to see a bump in power, or even LT4, but know that isn't a possibility. I'd like to see GM throw LS9's cam' in LSA, and upgrade the valvetrain so it'll spin to 6500, like LS9, and get power to about 620 or so. I don't see that happening either, but a guy could hope
