Hey, thanks. I appreciate everyone having our 6.

Happy Independence Day to you, other service members and vets as well as all other C5 members.

The words are enough support for me. FASST1 and I just felt the rest of the community needed to know to preclude such future situations.

I will return about the 12-13 and my car should be re-built from the ground up about then. I will post the positive ending to this in the forced induction section.

My car should be very close to Midgard as it is virtually the same build except he ran race gas, mine will be for 93. Matter of fact; I am using some custom parts from Midgard's car. He is upgrading and could sell the custom parts easily but he is literally donating them to my cause. Thanks Midgard.

regards,
Shooter1

Hey Shooter1. I think Summit has a Camaro cruise in the fall. That is about half way. That might be a chance to see that monster you are building and get a ride?

How in the hell are these people still in business. I am so embarrassed they are in Indiana. They need to be shut down.

Shooter, you are welcome....and Livernois will give you an awesome car to boot.....I think it is going to be even that much more awesome after what your car felt like with the bad work done.

I also want to thank everyone in the military for sacrificing so much!

camaro cruise

FASST1; That may work out well. I think I will be around in Mid September. Weather will be cooling off too!

As to being ashamed it occurred in Indiana, agreed. BACKINBLACK; can you advise if you are North, South or Mid Indiana?????

INDY!!!

BACKINBLACK;

You are only 1.5 hours up 65 from me. That would be a good stroll to stretch
the legs out on my car once Livernois is done with it.

Indy is supposed to have a nice track as well

Might be a good excuse to see if some others (Midgard) may want to hook up in the area as well????

I am pretty slammed on my schedule until September though.......

Thanks for the info. I also live in Indiana and I'm glad I never found them. Mine is going to Cincy Speed on the 10th for an E-Force. I feel for ya. Maybe this guy needs taken out to the woodshed.

I've heard of this guy's "dealings" on other forums too. Apparently he's pretty good at what he does...separating folks from their hard earned dollars. I don't think this is the first forum he's been banned from. Shooter, I hope you recover from this mess and have many good days with your ride. Best of luck to you.

Makes me sick to read your post Adam, It takes a real piece of work to take a car that Livernois did an awesome job with and nearly destroy it
And then to say it was because you called him too much, WOW, Bet that pissed you off!
Best part is tho Its back at Livernois and you know they will deliver a beast built to perfection!
And James hooking shooter up with those parts, Thats Badass
Maybe one of these days i can keep up with you guys

I used to deal with Ed Potter (owner of Late Model Speed) when he was at Lingenfelter and always had a good experience. It pains me to see people who spent years earning a good reputation destroy it in such a short time. Shooter1, I can sympathize with you after the royal screwing I got from a shop in Florida (Ultimate Performance and Racing) who went out of business the day after they delivered my car to me. My build thread lists the numerous mistakes and bad workmanship they left me with.

Ah, Mr. Sweaver

I am quite sure that within a few weeks; Midgard and I will have to hold your Soda on the sidelines while you run with the big boys

That said; I should be able to run with most cars if I do my part

FrankT; you said it my friend. When he was with Lingenfelter he would never have been allowed to conduct himself in this manner or he would have been promptly escorted to the door. To my knowledge; he never turned a wrench at Lingenfelter.

I am not the only one with the same type experience as you can see from the thread as well. The Chally/Charger sites state numerous "situations" as well.

Sorry to hear about your royal screwing as well. I hope you found a good shop to get you straight and burning rubber again. I will be very happy to put my car back in my garage again......

regards,
Shooter1
