lighter connection problems

In my 2014 ss camaro, the lighter connector where you connect your charger or radar does not work... niether in the center console nor inside the arm rest and i think its a fuze...

should i take it in for repair or should i change the fuze myself? if so, what fuze is it?

reason i ask is my dealership is an hr away, have to wake up early and know will take a long time (i think)

It sounds like a fuse, they are located on the driver side of the dash, location #17 and #18......

Instrument Panel Fuse Block

The instrument panel fuse block is on the end of the instrument panel, on the driver side of the vehicle. To access the fuses, open the fuse panel door by pulling out.
To reinstall the door, push the door back into its original location.

The vehicle may not be equipped with all of the fuses, relays, and features shown.

Looks like there are two separate fuzes for the two power outlets. It's odd that both don't work.

So please don't get mad about these obvious questions:

1. Are you sure the device you're plugging in is working otherwise?
2. Do you know that the outlets are not powered unless the key is turned to the on position?
