It seems to me that their are a lot of threads on the new mustang coming out
on this site. I was just wondering. Are all you camaro motor heads that worried about the new mustang besting the camaro or are you not really camaro motor heads at all? It looks like, that many of you might be really mustang guys just hoping for a 400hp mustang so you can drop your camaro off at a ford dealer next year. I've learned more about the new mustang that's coming out from camaro5 then anywhere else. Maybe the site should change from camaro5.com to 2011mustangcamaro5.com.

Don't worry that much about them guy's. Just know that we have great rides and now ford has to play catch up for awhile.

I think it's awesome that we're getting this exciting new information. I think that a ton of separate threads about it are a bit much but a big megathread about the Mustang is cool by me.

I'm not really sure what there is to worry about. The Mustang has 1 more HP and 1 more mpg <supposedly> but it still looks like a Mustang - dime a dozen, etc, etc...

The people that were going to buy a Camaro or Mustang no matter what will still buy whichever they are inclined towards. There's not enough "more" about the Mustang, in my opinion, to knock someone away from the Camaro side of the fence. Aside from a few suspicions, is the price of the new V6 Mustang even announced? That will matter a great deal to people - especially V6 people like me.

Even non-pony car people are stricken by the Camaro - the Mustang numbers don't make up for the Camaro's mere "presence".

And who's to say that the LLT is the final chapter for the Camaro V6?.....

The 2010 Mustangs are ugly as hell, I mean have you seen the back of that thing? Fords best best for the continuity of they're car is to just revert back to the 2008 Mustang design and just upgrade they're engines. I mean the 2008 design doesn't look that bad from the back at all! I always will hate the front though....

Even with 2011 Mustang coming, the 2010 Camaro will for years into the future be hot $hit because of it's sleek, aggressive, and futuristic design.

Looks, it's no comparison; Camaro > Mustang.

Also, performance POTENTIAL, Camaro wins hands down.

But off the rack, a 400hp Mustang GT has a very good shot at matching/exceeding a stock SS, even a stick.

I'd still prefer the SS, even if it is about even with the new GT in performance.

Wow, it's a great time to love horsepower!
