Removing the Chevy badge from the V6 engine cover

Has anyone done this without damaging the Chevy logo badge?

Thanks

Yeh, make sure you put something like painters tape around the perimeter so not to scratch the cover, then use a small thin blade screwdriver and pry it up a bit. Then peel it off. Very thin metal, almost like beer can material. Comes off pretty easy.

I did the same as Divide did, but I used a heat gun on low setting and got the plastic warmed up a bit and it worked very well.
