It doesn't matter what the actual part numbers are as they aren't interchangeable.

We understand the Camaro and Corvette bolt up differently, but the core transmission is the same. You're arguing semantics.

It does. Lets say I found a great deal on a used MM6. It would be nice to know what the correct part number was for the 1LE vs the Vette. You seem to have that information. I am simply asking for the part numbers that you have so I can know for future reference. I was not able to find anything on line that gave the part numbers.

I'm not arguing anything, you guys said they were the same thing and they aren't.

You can tell by looking at them.

Camaro = Side mounted reverse lockout solenoid with shifter point on top.
Vette = Top mounted reverse lockout solenoid with shifter in bellhousing

Camaro

Corvette

Yes it does. I've had to disconnect mine twice. Once when I replaced my clutch. And once when I pulled the motor. Hell three times, also when I first put in a cam.

several wrong points on here.......

1le has the same Trans as ZL1, with closer gear ratios, and a higher final drive of 3.91 vs. the SS of 3.51
as well as the half shafts, toelinks, and wheel bearings straight from the zl1.

other parts include
-flat bottom "suede" steering wheel, shift knob/shift boot
- 28mm mono tube in the rear, 27mm in the front
-brembo 4-piston braking system with 26" and 24" rotors
-rims/tires/hoodwrap, front splitter, spoiler (duh)
-upgraded fuel pump based off of the Zl1's

i BELEIVE that is a complete list. could be missing

the 1LE is an "Air-Liquid" system instead as thought to be more efficient, which is why it is the same as used in the ZL1

That's the first time I've heard that it is a ZL1 tranny with different ratios. Isn't it a 3.45 final drive in the SS?

Yes, but when stating information it's good to ensure its accuracy.
You know to ensure everything on the Internet is "true".

See the link to the pdf found in this post. It has all the specs on gearing between the 1LE and the SS.
