Best pulley set up for cam'd Z

So, I'll be camming the Z for sure by the end of summer. What pulley setup are you guys seeing the best with a cam? Upper only 2.3/2.5 or maybe the 2.5 - 9.1 combo...just seeing what you guys are having the best results with.

Thanks!

I'm not cammed, but I've read many post with the 2.5/8.6 or 9.1 running safely...Your best info will come from whomever is doing the install...Good luck...

Yeah I'd recommend a 2.5 + 8.6 if you're going to run 93. If you're going to do E85, then you can do a 9.1" instead of 8.6 which would give you another 10-20 ponies.

What is the rest of your build? Injectors? Heat exchanger? Meth? E85? Intake? Exhaust? 102mm? Porting?

I have a 9.17 lower and plan on staying with just pump gas (E10/91 and 100% 93). The upper pulley is stock. Currently I have 850s which flow 104 lbs @ 58 psi. I will have a BTR Stage 3 cam installed soon. I was thinking about 2.75/2.85 to keep boost at or under 13 psi. Good decision?

I am running the 2.55 and 9.17 with great results. I am also planning to add the BTR stage 3 cam sometime this summer, and the flex fuel kit. With CAI, LT, 1050X injectors and the pulleys, I made 615/625 to the wheels on a very low reading dyno.

2.5 + 9.1 is fine, though I'd prefer a 8.6 if you're running on 91 or 93. If you're on E85 (even a 50/50 mix) then go for the 9.1. I think you'll have to pull just a little too much timing on 93/91 to make the 9.1 worth it.

A lot of supercharger RPM for longevity and lot of heat if you don't have a serious amount of cooling mods (You'll need E85, Meth, Upgrade HX, Expansion tank, or an Interchiller to cool that).

How much HP do you make? With that much boost the pulled timing would be pretty bad without E85 even with your other mods.

I see you have an LSX block so you may have a completely different animal than what we're running.
