Haha, neither. I probably should have said, "across, on the other side of Northlake Pkwy." I work in one of them offices down E. Exchange Pl.

If it was a fairly dirty Camaro, it was probably mine. I drove it from IL a couple weeks ago, then was out of town for half a week. When I got back, I had a brutal flu that kept me in bed for almost a week. Now, I'll be leaving to go back to my hometown in SC - another 300 miles. I figured for the past couple days to wait to clean it up once I got there so I can impress all the small town folks.

I bought from Team Chevy in Alpharetta. Worked with a guy from bosnia, his name is Nedim. They were all VERY honest and upfront with me. And I got a GREAT deal on my new Maro!

Steve Rayman Chevrolet in Marietta has a body shop that is independent from the dealer. John is the painter and owner I believe. they do some awesome paint and custom work. There have been some examples of their work on camaro5 posts.

I hope the body shop doesn't try to charge as much for the paint work as Steve Rayman tried to charge me for my new baby! They wanted 10k over sticker! I work 2 miles from their dealership and stopped by last week to get a car cover and they are STILL asking 10 grand over MSRP!

Bill Heard / Legacy = different name, same game. Yes, I bought it at Legacy because I didn't feel like going on a hunt for it. My hubby was over in the sand box and for 26 years he has been doing the car buying for me. This time I was on my own. I paid (as did many others) $5k over invoice. Some paid as much as $10k over when it first came out in the spring. They are still marking the SS/RS $10K over msrp and supposedly selling them at that too. I'm working with Bill Knight on getting the list of all the 2010's sold (privacy issues to be dealt with first) and supposedly the owner at Legacy is going to back me up for a Legacy sponsored get together to get the ball rolling on our club. At this time we are working with 'West Central Georgia Camaro Club' for the name, join up if you are interested.

I had a great posting for the club here on the forum just a few nights ago but the power went out with that nasty storm right as I hit the button to post it... lost the whole thing, dang-it!!!

So which end of town are you in that I might have seen you driving? Have you come across one of my club cards yet? There are quite a few floating around Columbus by now. I can usually be found zipping up and down Macon Rd. Though as of the 1st I'm relying heavily on my cruise control to keep my speed in check so I don't get a ticket. Cops are everywhere and I don't intend on being a target.

So I'm moving to Georgia this week (Ft. Benning/Columbus area) and just wanted to say hi because I figure this is the closest group to there. Anybody want to fill me in on the car scene in the area?

To SSCamaroKid, I got my 2LT RJT at Jim Ellis Chevy. It took a long time (ordered in March, got it in early Sept.) but I paid sticker, the people there are nice, and there was no monkey business at delivery.

I live in Columbus. I have seen quite a few Camaros around town, but not too many on the forum as far as I know. Not really too sure on the car scene around here. You will be able to find out more probably on Benning. I am still kinda new to the area myself and am not too sure on what all goes on here yet...
