Super 44 will do the trick. They fit nicely and tucked up out of sight. Very nice sound. You'll prolly want to take out the resonators and replace them with straight pipe too to get the most out of your project for the least $.

Sorry, I do not. I stayed with 2.5 inch pipe on my exhaust but the guys at Merican Muffler [(336) 294-5970] in Greensboro, NC ordered them and did the work. They went ahead and ordered the mufflers with different setups in order to make sure and get the correct fit since my SS was the 1st one they had done. Give them a call and talk either to Dick or Brian and they should be able to steer you in the right direction. Good luck.

I've been interested in Flowmasters also,...

What was the Off Set of your Flowmaster Mufflers for the Inlets and Outlets?

Were they both Centers?

I wonder how the Delta Flow 40's would sound??

Thanks.

Jim

Heard back from Flowmaster today, that was actually quick.

Hi Jimmy,
Thank you for choosing Flowmaster. The only thing that we make specific for your car are the cat-back systems. All of our mufflers are universal and will require some fabrication to install on the vehicle. If you want to use an Original 40 series muffler, part # 42543 should be the closest to the stock setup. In the kits that we have for your car we use a modified Super 44 style muffler. The Super 44 will have less interior noise than the Original 40. Please let me know if you have anymore questions. Thank you.
Thank you for contacting Flowmaster.

Because the American Thunder kit does not come with a true X pipe and it was cheaper to get a magnaflow Xpipe, all new piping, 2 flowmaster 40 mufflers and 2 magnaflow tips then the American Thunder kit costs!
