Wow. I like it a lot.

I love the G8...but I like the rear end of this much more. (I still prefer the G8 front fascia though)

I wish the Impala would go RWD again, but just dont see it. (Not fleet friendly) A new Chevelle would be sweet though, and I agree the back end does look better than a G8!

To compete in the market...it needs to have an AWD option!

Sure, RWD is great...but look at the G8...something tells me it would've sold a lot more if it had the option of AWD.

I certainly have been critical of many of GM's moves in the past but do we really think they are that stupid? If they ever build a Camaro with four doors, I will sell all my Camaros and say screw it all and buy a Porsche Carrera GT.

Just some random forum/magazine idea. GM says they are just going to drop the G8 but even if they don't they'll almost surely use a different name than Camaro, they aren't Dodge.

To answer a few rumors, seems some of you haven't heard this yet...

1. The Pontiac G8 WILL become a Chevy!
GM spent to much money bringing the car here to just "kill" it after 2 yrs.

2.The nameplate will not be Impala or Lumina
The Chevy Caprice police patrol vehicle or Caprice PPV is coming this year.
The civilian version is NOT far behind.

Again, this is not a 4-door Camaro,

The Caprice is BACK!
