Torque Converter Video Explanation
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a video I just found that explains how a torque converter functions. Obviously, there are more detailed explanations but I think the guy in the video did a good job at helping me conceptualize how a torque converter functions. When I started trying to understand what a torque converter is, more experienced members on this forum told me it is a "fluid coupler." Well, this video will help some folks that are new to TC's understand how the TC turns oil pressure into power transfer. There are other really good explantions about TC's/Stall Converters, stall speeds, etc. on this site (C5). |
