Torque Converter Video Explanation

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a video I just found that explains how a torque converter functions. Obviously, there are more detailed explanations but I think the guy in the video did a good job at helping me conceptualize how a torque converter functions.

When I started trying to understand what a torque converter is, more experienced members on this forum told me it is a "fluid coupler." Well, this video will help some folks that are new to TC's understand how the TC turns oil pressure into power transfer.

Sorry, I couldn't get the video to embed.

There are other really good explantions about TC's/Stall Converters, stall speeds, etc. on this site (C5).
