Post HEADERS ADVISE

Im intrested in some headers and i have come across a lot of good products. looking for that bang for the buck. I have seen a product called clear Image http://www.ottperformance.com/store/...idproduct=1265 does anyone have any knowledge of their claims of remarkable gains. I was leaning toward SLP but not sure now. Also seen here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98249

If you need more information pm me a contact number and I'll reach you with all the details. Thanks.

their are lots of good headers out their, doug thorly, american racing, texas speed, kooks, to name a few. what you need to look at is the size of the primaries and what future mods you will be doing to the car will help you with deciding on primary size. for the most part people are running 1 7/8" primaries and are seeing good results. i do believe that jannety racing did a header test a while back. search the forums for that test and it should help you with your decision. also lt's are only part of the eqation into making power, the other part is the cats. either go with high flow cats or remove the cats completely. be sure to check with all the board sponsors for the best deal on headers. i hope this helps you out.

looking for just a good deep sound like the traditional muscle cars. I know headers add better air flow out of the engine. Thats all i really know. Most i am wanting to do is CAI, suspension, wheels, exhaust. This is my first V8 my own so trying to figure this out and what i want.

Don't waste your time on brand X's. Its either Kooks or American Racing for the 5th Gen Camaro. Here are my Kooks.

Trust me on this: Call around and get a feel for pricing on both makes, then call Brandon at Maryland Speed. Call Brandon last, you will thank me.

Got to agree with Alfie..only go with Kooks or American racing..all the others IMO are just trying to "catch up". I got Coated Kooks from Brandon at Maryland Speed as well and love the sound, performance and quality. Good Service from Brandon as well. Would not bother with saving $100 bucks on brand "X"...

Here are some Pics of 1 7/8" Kooks with 1700 Degree DuraChrome coating:

Borla. OMG. Sound and performance. Amazing.

Not ARH, Kooks, or any other can beat the price. Stainless and affordable.

No cats though. lol
