I got the polished wheel upgrade for free.

My dealer ordered them by mistake, and I did not want them. So, instead, they just decided to give them to me for free.

I fought hard with the decision for Polish or Midnight Silver from the RS. I picked to not order polished... and I am glad... the Midnight Silver look evil on a Black car. Also I can see me changing rims to a larger size once the tires are worn out so the extra $$ would be wasted.

Exact and to the point- My white SS would not be the same car without the polished rims. I had my son-in-law drive my car past me in the sun and those 20's glissened in the sun...It's the only way to go in my opinion.

It depends what color car you get. Both look good on a black or CGM, but polished looks better on others. Don't worry though, polished will look like Midnight Silver after a few miles and all the brake dust on them.

Not true- I've put 120 miles on my Camaro and cleaned my polished wheels 3 times. Each time I take it out it rains- lol. Here in the No East this summer it seems to rain every day. Weekly soft brush and mild car wash soap and mine will shine for years. Of course this is a toy, summer use only / no salt.

It was a bit of a hard decision for me, but the fact that I wanted the polished rims on my IBM Camaro made not getting the RS package even easier.

$1,380 Canadian for Halos, painted roof moldings and Midnight Silver Wheels???

Add Polished for $570 No discount if previously ordered RS and you end up paying $1,380 for Halos since black roof moulding don't show as much on dark paints anyways.

I like the look of the standard lights better IMO and it will cost me less that $50 to put bright white Xenon Bulbs in them for a much prefered look!

Either way you do it, this is one sweet ride and I'm sure you will be happy in the end!.

Been told you can't have both Halos and Fogs on at the same time? No problem with standard Halogens!

I would have been fine with an option to downgrade to the standard painted wheels, but since it wasn't an option, we upgraded to the polished.

I originally ordered the RS with polished, but decided to cancel the polished in favor of saving the $$$ and getting some other wheels after. While sharp looking, I want to differentiate my car from the masses who ordered polished. Now those LS7 wheels have caught my interest.

The 1/4 panel gills are available from: http://www.defenderworx.com/index.ph...d=28&Itemid=22 Part # CC-1008

The SS Wheel Emblems are available at: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/makingit...=1&_from=&_ipg=
These decals fit neatly overtop of the Chevy Bowtie and are very flexible. They last about 5 years and are easy to remove when the time comes to replace with a new set. They list for $21.95, but you can usually buy it now for around $16-18.

As for the licence plate, not much I can do for it .. has to be there!

I think the Midnight Silver rims go great with the Cyber Grey stripes on my IOM camaro...in fact several people have told me they look amazing, and I've only had the car for 3 days! It's personal preference, but my opinion is that MS rocks!
