Will SS Brembo brake package fit 2LT?

I have a 2LT RS coming in next week and I wanted to see if the Brembo brakes for the SS will fit it, does anyone know if the brake mounts are the same on the SS and the LT?

They will fit as long as your wheels are 18" or larger.

I guess my question is why the 2LT breaks are fine unless you wanna do some major racing in which case youd have saved some cash by just getting the SS

I have a question about OEM Brembos on a 2LT. I know the rotors and calipers will physically fit on the car. I was wondering if the master cylinder, ABS, and stability control will function properly on the LT with the Brembos. Does anyone know if the master cylinder and ABS are identical on the SS and LT?

To answer your question YES I installed a set of Brembo brakes off a 2SS/RS w/ under 50 miles on them. You only need one modification and that is to either replace the rear rotor dust shield (PITA to replace) or trim the OEM one this is the option I choose.

I have had them on for 3 months approx 4k on them so far Best mod I have done.

Did this switch to my son's 2LT and it was really pretty easy. As mentioned, the only mod needed is to trim the rear dust shields. We also installed SS braided brake lines while we were at it.

The only problem with the switch is now his 2LT stops better than my 2SS!! Gotta get my braided brake lines installed ASAP!!

Save the time and money...just put Hawk pads on it. Will stop just fine as per all the road tests.

save time, money and headache...just paint ur calipers...makes em pop without spending a fortune in money and time to purchase a brake system designed for a different model

One-off stopping distances are limited by the tires and road surface. Where the differences lie are repeated stopping tests, which magazines rarely do. However, brake feel is a benefit all the time. The Brembos will provide better feel than the LT pin sliders, and the better aftermarket brake systems are a few notches higher than those. Plus you get more heat capacity for heavier use (canyon running, track days, etc.).

Did anyone order from GM parts? The price for everything seems comparable to used (if I captured everytrhing necessary).
