When I bought my Camaro, I kept my 2006 Honda CRV for wintertime, commuting, etc.

Well, it was starting to have some issues, and I decided to replace it.

2016 Toyota 4Runner Limited with TRD wheels and Nitto Grapplers:

Full time AWD, but lockable center torsen differential with low range.

So now, I have a daily driver that cost more than my Camaro, and gets worse mileage!

Am I crazy?

What is your "other" ride (if you have one)?

Awesome choice on the 4Runner! We just had one of those in the studio a few weeks back. Fun vehicle to play with IMO

I have 2 motorcycles (BMW R1200ST & Husqvarna FE501S) and a take home car, which is currently a 2003 Crown Victoria. My 2016 Ford Explorer is in, just getting fitted with lights & equipment before I get to trade the old beast in.

It's one of the "executive" models. She's actually in decent shape for her age.

In typical ford fashion she's in the process of losing her 3rd transmission at 94.5k though.

I've got a '73 Dodge Dart Sport. 300,000ish miles, and I'm the second owner (grandpa was the first).

Had a 225 slant six and a 3 speed manual, then I built a 318 for it, then I built a 340 for it, then I refreshed that 340 again and swapped the 3 speed out for a 4 speed. I painted it when I was in high school (class of 2013!) and also got new wheels and tires. It's got a big Hurst pistol grip shifter and a 5" tach but other than that, and the bucket seats, the interior is all original. It's even still got the warranty card in the glovebox from the day my grandpa purchased it.

It's far from perfect, but I don't care. This car is special to me and I've had it since I was 9 and have been restoring it for about 5 years now. When I started working on it, I knew literally nothing about cars but I have learned a lot and have done all the work myself during breaks from school. Classic cars are cool and they're just so different than what we're used to today. I love cruising down the road in this thing! My boss has a 2015 2SS and he always gives me crap for driving a V6 Camaro... so I've made it my goal to outrun him in my 43 year old Dodge. My car weighs a lot less, makes the same power, and I've got 4.10's ready to install. Hehehehe.....

The Camaro and 36 actually belong to my mother but I am the caretaker and the show goer.
