Is a vendor going to offer the low version of the ZL1 1LE wing?

I know many variants exist but none of them look as the low version pre production version of the ZL1 1LE. Any news or vendor information for a similar product?

I've put in a lot of work for this very topic. The best thing you can do is follow up and let manufacturers know that there is a market for this particular modification.

Here's what I have so far:

Here is a thread that I started to drum up interest, and get some reference photos for local 3D printers to work with. The caveat at this point is that they require a physical wing to design the top joint of the stands, which I don't yet have.

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=506560

Here is a thread where I've compiled all of the trusted vendors who are currently manufacturing or selling ZL1/1LE Wings, along with a bit of information for each option:

C7 Carbon seems to be the most open-minded and transparent manufacturer for making the parts that we enthusiasts want. They don't have a low-rise wing just yet, but I did just ask them if they are willing to fabricate one for us.

Here's the thread with me asking about the process, post #37:
https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...1#post10172645

6LE Designs promised me that they have already fabricated low-rise stancions and planned on delivering their first version to me (which I paid for 6 months ago), BUT the delivery dates that they specified have come and gone three times over. I'm not holding my breath on this one.

And here's some pictures of the low-rise spoiler in question, at least according to GM's taste:

So so glad the low rise didn't make it to production, high 1LE spoiler or GTFO, and would the trunk even fully open with the low rise spoiler? The high rise spoiler barely clears the rear quarter panels with the truck fully open as it is.

What's the point of elitism? You recognize that not only do these cars fulfill different functions, including track performance, but each owner has different interests.

Your interests are no better than any other and convincing yourself of such is a waste of energy, considering that you could spend your time and energy putting positive feedback into this community that exists to support a shared interest in Camaros, not just in "go as fast as possible".

I appreciate your passion for doing so, but I think that it's important to put these subjective things into perspective.

I don't believe that elitism has anything to do with it. Function is the question. If Camaro engineers believed that the short wing offered a performance benefit or was functional they most likely would have made it an LPO.

If your your front and rear aerodynamics do not create equally proportionate downforce, the balance of your car at speed will be in a world of sh*t.

Nothing elite about it, just reality. No disrespect implied.

While it remains true that the function of this wing relies on it's height from the factory, there is no denying that its form is also aesthetically pleasing. To these ends, enhancing its aesthetics by dropping it to a more palatable height isn't out of the question.
