Finally got to drive the car for more than just a burn. I took it out or the whole afternoon. Took the wife and kids out, couple of buddies, my uncle, everyone loved it. It's a real head turner. I went to fill up gas, had 6 guys hanging around asking all sorts of questions.

The power of he SLP SC is just amazing. The exhaust note it just perfect IMO. Zero drone when cruising, a beautiful growl when I open it up. When you 1st fire it up, the beast wakes up and let's you know. I Truly love this car. It's simply fantastic.

So it's been awhile. Had to replenish funds. It's audio time. So I tried to get a Scosche dash kit, and cannot. So I'm going with Metra. Head unit is Alpine HD 927 double din. I'm doing front & rear cameras. I got JL C5 650's components for front. Killing the centre speaker (got special plans for that location). Going to leave rears stocks alone for now. My audio tech is making a custom dual 10" sub box. We are going with a 5 channel amp. Just deciding which amp and subs today. Here's some pics of stock removal.

These audio installers are the best! PowerSource Performance in Edmonton. They mask of any area they are working on. Taking great care of the paint and the car it's self. Always stored inside overnight. They told me these things, and I drove by at night and sure enough. My baby was tucked away safe and sound inside behind locked doors. They will be finished today. Picking up the beast tomorrow morning. I told them to surprise me on the sub box.

I forgot to mention that I have a Passport 9500iX radar. I bought a Bell mount and will hard wire with remote mute control installed on centre console.

Disappointed today (actually it was yesterday), my car is still not ready. Sub box is finished I was told, still need to install the front camera and put all the car panels back in. And do a sound set up. Looks like I gotta wait till Monday to pick it up. Here's a couple of pics for now.

So it's been quite awhile since I've posted. My work is seasonal, so I go hard spring, summer, fall. I installed some Peddler's Xa coil overs in the fall. Lost the pics when I did the update on the iPhone (lost all my emails and texts too!). What a difference. Amazing ride. Was still doing adjustments for daily driving ( spirited daily driving...lol). Then the snow came. So still have to in spring.

I was contemplating selling the car. I miss my Cadillac CTS and thought I would get a CTS-V this time. With kids, easier in a sedan. Told my son and he almost cried. Said he loves the car. Got back on Camaro5 last fees weeks and mod bug hit and a renewed inspiration.

Now that I see a lot of ZL1's, my car is not that much different in terms of body, So I'm going to do some exterior changes. Ordered new hood and spoiler. Been talking with the man, Eric at MPD, and getting the Z hood and spoiler. I'm so excited. I think it'll give the car a whole new look and feel. Now I'm just on debate on if I want to do stripes (race or rally and what color to do them in) or Caron fibre the hood intake, roof, and spoiler. Any other thoughts. Wondering if anyone can photoshop to help me on this.

My other mod I really want to do is Racaro seats. I love those. I haven't researched them yet, but according to posts here, not available?? They gotta be at some point.

I found a pic of a someone's car with the hood and race stripes. And it has the T3 bumper ports too. Kind of what I was thinking of doing. Not sure what color of stripes. I'm leaning to CGM.
