Custom wheels - expectations

at what price point would you expect perfectly machined centers, on forged rims, free from all tooling marks?

Your expectations are what everyone's should be when advertised as such. I would also expect them to get the order correct the first time. Not to mention,at the upper level of wheel prices a bullet proof packing job. Anything less is a disservice to you the customer.

I hope you post ALL of you progress as well as who it is. While I'm sorry for your hardship, you could save others from the same deal. That is huge.

it all comes down to a product that you paid for and it should be as ordered.vendor should bend over backwards to make it right.

If we shipped you a set of wheels , and there was a problem , We would be responsible for fitment issue " WE DONT HAVE " and any damage through out shippping.I think it should be up to the vendor to take care of you 500%.

I'm pretty stoked to own 2 of these wheels, at least I have the rears to look at

This is as much about UPS as the builder
one side, builder said 2 weeks, it was 5
just tell me 5 up front and save me 3 weeks of listening for the truck
the other side, UPS delivered some beatup boxes
would fed ex have been any better?

for this price, each wheel should come in a giant crown royal sack and a plastic tub - a returnable drum case would have prevented most of what's wrong.

Post your shipping best practices...

Ups can be a little ruff with the boxes these days , but if you pack them right they will help. Also as the shipper , we put insurance on the wheels and if there is any damage , we would take care of you first and worry about the insurance and claim later with ups. Hope you work everything out!

The tire damage looks like it may be from the installation process. WTF is wrong with people sending crap like this out. Who was it? It's people like this that hurt the reputation of internet wheel retailers.

I would expect them to be EXACTLY what you ordered. For me, anytime I am going to order a high priced item, because of a GOOD DEAL, I ask extra questions about the item, are they "seconds", that sort of thing, and if at all possible, go and see the item IN PERSON somewhere to ensure they will look like what you expect when you open the boxes.
