I asked a few folks I trust what I could do with the CCW's - the powder coating guy would not touch them. He said I would not be happy with the outcome.. I had asked about a clear powder coat for them.

My friend at the auto body shop would not clear coat them as there are two many angles to try and cover.

I don't have a good chrome shop to recommend. I know John at CCW has a recommended shop. One of my friends just had his bumpers done for his '65 GTO - the shop he used was in TN. I don't have the name but can get it if you need it. I would say it will cost at least $1000.00 to chrome all 4 wheels. (I am guessing - don't hold me to that price.)

Rejex and Zoopseal are both pretty effective, although somewhat time consuming to apply. Easier to do with tires removed.

I'd still just suggest you keep a layer of automotive wax on them at all times. Like every single time you wash the car, hit the wheels with some wax on a microfiber. Takes a whole 1 minute per wheel to do this, make it a part of your washing routine. Once you get the water spots, you will spend far more time getting rid of them. Preventative maintenance is the key here. Laziness results in dull spotty wheels.

Are you polishing by hand or with a machine?

I polish them by hand right after washing.

Only issue is the wheels take so long to do... more time than washing the car.

I love CCW's, they look awesome. The lip and offset has been nailed by them.

Hey nineball, are you a CCW dealer?
