Already been an entire thread on these cars. Specifically about the particular one you posted about, Dream Makers here in Ft. Wayne bought that one along with it's 2 brothers, the #10 triplets (Challenger, Dodge, Camaro). I believe they're just over $90k each and they are only selling them as a full set.

Here was the Camaro and Challenger at the Cars and Coffee meet Saturday morning.

The most depressing thing about the cars is the lack of attention to detail. "Fake" non-functional "but functioning" hood louvers (sealed from the underside so no air escape or intake), as well as 6-spline SC, so there's massive slip and rubber all over the engine bay from the belt. WAY overpriced. My guess is that they spent the last year developing all the parts/pieces to make this happen, realized they were in over their heads financially and trying to make up the money where they can. There's always the brand loyalists that will continue to buy until they realize they're being duped. Saleen is fading away. Unless they get someone with some REAL engineering know-how, they're going to be left with a gimmicky after-thought of a car.

FYI...

Saleen has always developed parts for far more then the Mustang. The "Bumblebee" Camaro in the original Transformers movie was NOT a Camaro. It was a 2004 Pontiac GTO with a full Saleen body kit inside and out, including body panels, as well as internal.

Way too much. For it to be a Saleen i would think it should be putting more HP than 575 imo. I do like it though. Just wouldn't drop 100k on it.

Saleen has always boasted big HP with very little to back it up. They claim 575, and with the belt slip, etc., the guys at Dream Makers are guessing they would be lucky to get 500 to the rear wheels just based on the feel of them compared to the other cars with said HP.

For that kind of money build a camaro how you want it, not how someone else did.

The car looks dated. The design queues throw back to the 1980s Saleen 5.0 mustangs. For 100k, I can think of many better options.

I guess I'm in the minority here in thinking that it looks nice? Sans rims of course. Those are hideous. The rear diffuser looks nice, although I think the spoiler is a bit over the top but it does keep in line with other Saleen spoilers. And hey, it looks like they found a way to make the tail lights look a little less Honda Prelude!! I Kid I kid 2014 owners

its clean but not worth 99,000+ at least not to me
what? I test drove one and it was 34k
