Searching for my first Camaro - have the VIN - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have always wanted to know what happen to my first 1980 Camaro Z28 that I bought when in high school. I just recently found the VIN but CARFAX says its an invalid VIN. I guess because the VIN numbers were not as long as they are today. Anyone know of any sites where I can research to see if its still on the road somewhere or rusting away in a junk yard?

I guess it ok to post the VIN here since it's so old. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Type the VIN in every search engine you know, it just may show up. If its junked I doubt it will show up.
