Need a lil advice. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok so I am thinking of getting a used SS Camaro and I found one I like that has the mileage and decent price but there are issues with it and ive already contacted the dealer about them but I want some fresh eyes on them and to give their opinion. There is a missing pinstripe on the drivers side, The wheels are not Dark silver as on most Rs models and the SS badge is in the wrong spot. Here is the link and look for yourselves and give me a idea if this is a good deal.

What pinstriping is missing? and the wheels are the same as my old 2012 2LT RS...

there is pinstripe on the passenger side of the car but there is not one on the drivers side.

The wheels are the factory polished upgrade, the SS in front grill is right place, the pin stripe isn't factory so car may have been repainted on drivers side ... Ask for car fax

I did they said they are getting back to me with a email about what came standard with the car from the factory and they believe the car fax is clean. I just worry that maybe it was in a accident and not reported to have been in one.

Well, when they get back to you with that info... tell them to either restripe the sides or remove and buff out the sides. It's a pretty car for a decent price, Good luck!

Have you seen this car in person because I would swear I see the pinstripe on the drivers side too.

yea I think it's on both sides. I'd ask for carfax for sure.

investigated a crash on a X3... after the body shop repairs it said 3X. dummies put the emblems on wrong. lol. why would the SS be there??

Ok just got done talking to the salesman and he said that the sun is washing out the driverside pinstripe in the photo's on autotrader and it has a clean car fax its a 2 owner car and he did say that he doesn't know why the ss badge is in the wrong spot but that doesn't mean something wasn't reported. Also the build sheet says the car is supposed to come with the Dark silver wheels and those are the polished ones of course and he seems to think that the original owner maybe swapped them out. So that's what I have

First: The SS badge is in the right spot.
Second: Many owners did not care for the Midnight Silver wheels and replaced them with other factory wheels.

I see no issues here.

Im not talking about the front badge im talking about the rear badge I know the front one is fine.
